Orthotics and Prosthetics captured my heart at a very young age, and more than three decades later, I still consider it a privilege to practise a profession that I love so deeply.

My career began in the Department of Health, where I served from 1994 to 2020. Those years provided invaluable opportunities to work alongside individuals from all walks of life, helping them overcome physical challenges and achieve greater independence. In 2020, I joined this private practice, where I continue to pursue my passion for patient-centred care. In 2024, my husband, Mark, joined the team as Practice Manager, allowing me to focus even more fully on what matters most—our clients and their journey toward improved mobility.

Away from the practice, family remains my greatest joy. Mark and I have been married for 26 years and are blessed with two remarkable daughters. We love spending time outdoors camping and fishing, enjoy the challenge of a fiercely contested board game, and, true to the Thiebaut family tradition, delight in good food shared with family and friends.

I firmly believe that mobility is fundamental to quality of life. Whether providing a life-changing prosthesis, a supportive orthosis, or a simple foot orthotic, every device has a purpose: to improve function, restore confidence, and enhance quality of life. No intervention is too small if it helps someone move more comfortably and live more fully.

Over the years, I have come to appreciate that my work is about far more than devices and biomechanics. It is about people—their stories, their resilience, and the goals that matter most to them. It is a privilege to walk alongside each client on their journey, helping them take the next step toward greater mobility, independence, and possibility.
